Bio

My research work is related to Materials Science, mainly focused on elasticity and fracture issues in soft materials. From 2017 to 2020, I carried out postdoctoral research at SMAT-C, focusing on problems of tearing and delamination of thin films, while also contributing to research on phyllotaxis and plate elasticity. Since 2020, I have been an Associate Researcher at SMAT-C. I am currently a researcher at the Centro de Investigación en Ingeniería de Materiales (CIIMAT) at the Universidad Central de Chile, where I continue to develop research on mechanics, fracture, and soft matter systems.

Experience

  • Academic Researcher - Universidad Central de Chile 2021 - present
